This May, green is the new black at London’s most innovative Indian restaurant, The Cinnamon Club, with the launch of a botanically inspired five-course garden menu. Celebrating spring and rejuvenation, this blossoming collection of vegetarian dishes has been carefully cultivated by executive chef Vivek Singh.
Available throughout Vegetarian Week (19-25 May) and over the Chelsea Flower Show (20-24 May), the garden menu sees some of the most delicate ingredients including exotic flowers and herbs expertly combined with aromatic spices to create wonderfully complex flavours. Taking vegetarian food to a new and exciting level, the menu truly reveals Vivek’s expertise as a culinary alchemist. Diners will indulge in nature’s delicacies including marigold, banana and sweet Syrian borage flowers, fragrant jasmine, mint and saffron.
Before savouring each of the five courses, diners are invited to enjoy an elixir of Cinnamon Club rose petal infused vodka. Then, as you soak up the stunning surroundings of the Grade II listed former Westminster Library the menu begins.
With offerings to entice even the most resolved carnivores, The Cinnamon Club’s floral garden menu is quite simply a must this May.
Available from 1st – 31st May 2008 the garden menu is £60 per person
