London venue One Queen Anne's Gate is launching its support of Tap into WaterAid.
The conference facility located in Westminster is suggesting to customers to make a voluntary donation to WaterAid for every bottle of chilled tap water they consume during their event. The scheme works by simply ticking a box on the One Queen Anne's Gate booking form to pledge an amount to Tap into WaterAid.
All donations made are passed on to WaterAid to fund life-saving water, sanitation and hygiene education projects in the developing world
Venue & Marketing Director Adele Summers explains "We have always believed in offering chilled tap water at meetings at no additional charge and with one in six people not having access to safe water, we felt motivated to try to help quench an essential human need. The response from our customers to the idea has been really encouraging and we hope this will be reflected with donations".
Adeline Moe, Tap into WaterAid's project manager says "We're hoping that One Queen Anne's Gate's customers will feel motivated to join in with Tap into WaterAid. It costs just £15 for WaterAid to bring safe water, sanitation and hygiene education to someone in poverty, so with this new support, many lives will be transformed for the better. Water is life!"
