The House, designed by Robert Adam in the early 1770s, is the historic home of the RSA. A famous centre for Enlightenment thinking, the building has been the intellectual and social home of some of the greatest thinkers and social activists of the past 200 years. Situated in a prime location just off the Strand in central London, our hospitality and catering team provide a bespoke service to clients. Whether it's a conference for 200, location filming, product launches, press events, boardroom meetings, wedding ceremonies, receptions or parties, we can provide the best in hospitality.

We pride ourselves on our environmental policies, holding your event at the RSA house means showing your support for a venue and organisation that does more than just recycle. Our head Chef invites an innovative approach to his food philosophy, supporting British providers and purchases from sustainable stocks.

Conferences and seminars

The Great Room, decorated with James Barry's spectacular 18th-century mural, The Progress of Human Knowledge and Culture, offers a versatile auditorium for up to 200 guests with state-of-the-art AV equipment.

For smaller meetings or seminars we have a wide range of rooms, accommodating from 10 to 200 people.

Press events, product launches and private screenings

The Durham Street Auditorium is perfect for press screenings, whilst intimate launches and presentations are ideal in our other boutique House event spaces, such as the Folkestone, Tavern and Romney rooms.

Boardroom meetings and company events

Our unique Georgian rooms create an inspirational backdrop to your company meetings.

For company parties for up to 200 in the beautiful hidden Vaults

Our stunning, versatile underground vaults create a spectacular backdrop for your event and can play host to parties and drinks receptions.

Many rooms in the house can accommodate private catered events. You can choose the ideal size, setting and style for your event.

CATERING

All the food at the RSA House is created using sustainable, local ingredients wherever possible by our Head Chef.

We offer a range of event menus, including three-course seated dinners, food platters, hot and cold buffets, canapés and catering for working lunches.

The RSA House is located just behind the Strand in central London, within easy walking distance of underground and railway stations.
